Participation of employees with health-related limitations in companies
We promote the participation of employees with health-related limitations with our sub-project. These are employees who, due to health restrictions, can no longer carry out the same activities at their place of work like they used to.
Many factors contribute to stabilising and promoting the health of employees in the company. However, people with health restrictions often face numerous personal and structural hurdles that prevent them from actively participating in their working lives and make them “unwell”.
Our practical help supports company managers in introducing participation-promoting measures in their companies. Our aim is to activate the health behaviour of employees with health-related limitations through more social participation.
The concept of our practical aid includes support from so called Sherpas, who support employees with health-related limitations as trained confidants. In addition, a binding charter, guide-based employee appraisals and moderated exchange groups ensure the expansion of participation.
